The following photos are from a quick portrait session that I shot with my friend Ian in Washington, DC. We were going for a look that was sophisticated yet casual, with subtle earth tones that complement the city’s historic neighborhoods (photoshoot locations included the National Cathedral and Pomander Walk in Georgetown’s West Village). The first six photos were taken on the Lumix S5 with the Voigtlander Nokton 50mm f/1.1, while the last three photos were taken on the Mamiya RZ67 with the 110mm f/2.8 on expired Kodak Portra 400NC and the current iteration of Kodak Portra 400.
